The Autism Speaks mission is to find the causes, effective treatments and a cure for autism by accelerating the pace of scientific research, while raising awareness about autism and providing education and outreach opportunities. Fundraise Your Way offers supporters of Autism Speaks the opportunity to raise funds for their Special Events through the internet. Participants have the chance to create their own event, team and individual web pages as a means to involve people from all over the country in support of their events. Proceeds from Fundraise Your Way support Autism Speaks' mission to find the causes, effective treatments, prevention and a cure for autism. Since 2006, autism supporters from around the country have raised well over $500,000 using Fundraise Your Way to create their own autism events. With your help, we can increase this number dramatically in 2011 and beyond.
